Today you are cycling on the wine roads of Provence, at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, the giant of Provence.
A beautiful loop ride through wine country, exploring villages hidden in the countryside like Lafare and Suzette. You pass by the charming wine village of Beaumes de Venise, famous for its sweet "Muscat" wine. You return via the easy climb of the Madeleine pass, with wide-sweeping views of the Rhône valley before descending back to Bedoin.
- Loop Ride - Bedoin > Beaumes de Venise > Col de Suzette > Bedoin
40km / 24.8 miles - Ascent: +680 m / Descent: -680 m - You meet your guide in Bedoin and start your cycling in Provence
- Depending on our pace, you will be back in Bedoin and finished by 4 to 5 pm

- This is a FIXED rate, from 1 to 4 participants maximum with 1 private guide
- We confirm the private tour within 7 working days (subject to availability)

The ride
- The total ride is 40km, and is geared towards fit riders who are able to tackle multiple sustained climbs (there's very little flat in this itinerary). Though none of the climbs are terribly steep, all of the hilltop villages along the way require a 1 to 5km climb (they don't call them hilltop village for nothing!)
The program of the day
- Start of the day: 9AM in Bedoin
- Loop Ride - Bedoin > Beaumes de Venise > Col de Suzette > Bedoin
40km / 24.8 miles - Ascent: +680 m / Descent: -680 m - End of the day : around 4 to 5 PM in Bedoin

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING - You will need:
- Comfortable gym clothes are sufficient or you can choose to wear bicycle-specific clothing (bib-shorts and a cycling jersey)
- Wind/Rain jacket in case of wind, bad weather that can be store in your backpack (recommended)
- a collapsible backpack to store your items
- gloves and a warm hat (beanie) for the summit; it can get cold up on Ventoux and on the descent!
- Running shoes for the flat pedals
- Sun hat, sun protection (hat, sun cream)
