Ongoing training of our teams
All employees receive training and/or information on their role and responsibilities regarding internal environmental practices including water, energy conservation, paper, and waste management.
- 2023: A sustainability coordinator was appointed within the company.
- June 2023: workshop day with all employees, presenting CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and sustainable development issues in our business
- June 2024: seminar on the theme of sustainable development in tourism with collaborators and team of guides for Madeira, Azores, Portugal and France. Our purpose has been developed and enshrined in the company's articles of association ever since.
- December 2025: Climate fresco workshop carried out by the Ecolab Environnement association to reconstruct the cause-and-effect links of climate change, and then explore the actions to be taken in a personal and professional context.
- January 2026: Creation of a Green Committee within the agency which brings together representatives from each destination in order to reflect on areas of improvement in our trips and implement concrete actions.

Corporate commitment
We are committed to continuously improving our practices both in our offices and in the design of our trips.
On our premises
While it is essential for us to offer the most respectful trips possible in terms of GHG emissions, it is no less essential for us to implement all the actions internally to limit the emissions related to the activity of our employees.
- We have reduced our paper printing by printing only when absolutely necessary and, where necessary, always printing double-sided in greyscale. The paper is recycled, FSC and Ecolabel certified and comes from a factory with a low impact on the environment (Blue Angel Label). We aim to degitize the sending of travel documents (sending the roadbook and GPX tracks by email) which will reduce our printing on this item by 60%. We have also taken measures regarding the printing of invoices, which are now identified/scanned by an Artificial Intelligence and are no longer printed at all.
- All equipment and lighting are energy-efficient and turned off, unplugged, or on standby mode when not in use.
- Waste is sorted into the following categories: garbage, recyclable materials and organic matter, and is disposed of and treated by the municipality.
- We use biodegradable products for the maintenance of the premises and daily life, and we buy fair trade tea and coffee in bulk or with limited and Fair Trade certified packaging
- We have ceramic tableware for meals and drinks (glasses, tea and coffee cups). 80% of our employees come with their picnic prepared at home in an airtight box belonging to them.
- We have set up remote working to avoid commuting. In high season, 2 days of remote working/week and in low season, 3 days of remote working/week. In addition to this, 10 additional days of remote working are added in the year.
- To offset our carbon emissions related to business trips and daily commutes, we collaborate with our partner Tree Nation, which allows us to participate in reforestation projects in France or abroad. We contribute to our annual emissions (e.g. 2025: 30 tonnes of CO2 offset)
- We have decided to space out our so-called "distant" seminars to every 3 years. In other years, we opt for more local seminars and favor the train and soft activities
In the design of our trips
The Green Committee, created in 2026, is in charge of making the link between the product managers who design our trips and the company's sustainable development policy. Its main aim is to carry out collective reflection work: on charters for guides, travellers, the reference systems sent to our partners, projects to open up new regions in France or Europe by train, etc.
For our customers who have opted for printed travel documents (extra in our programs), we provide them with a brand new eco-friendly and solidarity travel pouch to keep doucments safe. It illustrates our ecological and societal commitment
- A travel pouch to honor Indian artisan.
This ecru organic cotton case in the colors of Intura Travel, is made by Hindbag in association with the Indian NGO SSMI, which works to reintegrate women through work. - Luggage tags
Made from cork, a natural material with a high environmental value and a nod to one of our flagship destinations: Portugal. Portugal is the largest producer of cork in the world and responsible for more than 60% of the volume of all exports.
Local roots with our assiociative investment
- ATHOM: ATHOM was created in the Vaucluse by a teacher of Adapted Physical Activities (APA) in order to allow people with mental, cognitive or psychological disabilities to practice sports activities but also cultural leisure activities. In addition to annual donations, our director Emmanuel Lang is largely involved in this association by regularly supervising a group of young people with disabilities in the practice of climbing.
- In September 2025, emergency aid was provided to some families in Mindelo (Cape Verde) following the torrential rains that occurred on August 11, 2025. The damage was very significant, especially in the poorest neighborhoods. We commissioned one of our guides on site to draw up a list of basic necessities to be distributed on site.
- In partnership with the EcoLab environment association in Avignon, our team took part in a day of cleaning up the banks of the Rhône River on the island of Barthelasse.
We cleared:
100kg of glass
50 kg of recyclable materiel
70 kg household waste
11 cylinders of laughing gas, knowing that this gas is currently impossible to recycle and must be treated by a specialized plant
