About the Provence day trip: walking in Gigondas vineyards - Easy

Day trip info

• This is a FIXED rate, from 1 to 4 participants maximum with 1 private guide
• We confirm the private tour within 7 working days (subject to availability)
• From Monday to Saturday 

The walk

• The walk is 11 km long in total, and you can expect up to 3.5 hours of walking time along the trails. 
• The paths are well-worn farming tracks but are rocky, with some steep portions both up and down.  There is no scrambling involved, and no cliff edges to negotiate. You recommend to wear hiking boots with ankle support but good trail runners can be worn if you're used to wearing them on trails. 

The program of the day 

• Start of the day: 9AM in Gigondas 
• 2 Loop Walk options - Gigondas > Gigondas
  . 2 hours - 5km / 3.1 miles-  Ascent: +200m/ Descent: -200m
  . 3 hours 30 - 11km / 6.8 miles-  Ascent: +300m/ Descent: -3200m
• End of the day : around 5PM in Gigondas

INCLUDED

• 1 picnic 
• 1 wine  tasting ( on opening days) 
• A local private English and French speaking guide during the day tour

• Your transfer to the start / end of the walk

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING -  You will need:

• Small backpack (30 liters is a good size) 
• Bottle of water
• Sun protection (hat, sun cream in summer; fleece or jacket in spring & autumn)
• Wind/Rain jacket in case of wind or rain that can be stored in your backpack 
• Runnning shoes or hiking boots (ankle support is recommended if you aren't used to rocky trails with your running shoes)
