Walking holiday in Brittany
Welcome to beautiful Brittany! Discover the breathtaking landscapes, hidden treasures, and authenticity of this multifaceted region. Our walking holidays in Brittany, carefully crafted by our team of local experts, will take you on a journey to discover the wild and unspoiled Brittany, between land and sea.
Brittany, and more specifically the Pink Granite Coast between Paimpol and Perros-Guirec, is an ideal destination for lovers of nature and wide-open spaces. Easily accessible from Paris by TGV to Guingamp or Saint-Brieuc (about 3 hours), or via the airports of Brest and Rennes, this region is easy to explore on foot.
What landscape to expect on a walking holiday in Brittany?
Brittany is famed for its rugged coastlines with dramatic cliffs, secret coves, charming sandy beaches and pretty fishing towns and villages. The Pink Granite Coast, with its unique rock formations and vibrant hues, is a real highlight, with only 3 such sights in the world, Corsica, China and Brittany. Many of the panoramic coastal trails are along the well-marked and well maintained GR34 – the Customs Officer’s path – as this was the route that they would take to catch smugglers. Inland, the countryside is picturesque with rolling hills, verdant fields, and small, quaint villages. You'll encounter many megalithic sites and ancient ruins which add a hint of mystery to the landscape and a touch of history to your Brittany walking holiday.
