Cycling guided day trip in St Remy de Provence

We begin our ride in the fabled town of Saint Rémy de Provence, renowned for its most famous visitor: Vincent Van Gogh. We cycle along the base of the Alpilles mountains, at the juncture where the chiseled limestone cliffs meet the vast olive groves that carped the plains. Rounding the mountain counter-clockwise, we pass the sleepy villages of Saint Etienne and Fontvieille and enjoy an olive oil tasting on the way. We then reach the village of Maussane, surrounded by its silvery olive trees. From here we take seldom-used roads as we begin a climb through the heart of the Alpilles Mountains, reaching the perched medieval village of Les Baux de Provence, for breathtaking views.
After a visit and lunch, we stop at for a wine tasting in a small family-run wine estate, before returning to Saint Rémy, completing our loop.

- This is a FIXED rate, from 1 to 4 participants maximum with 1 private guide

The ride
- The total ride is 42 km, and suitable for anyone used to regular physical exercise. There is one sustained climb of 3km to reach the village of Les Baux.
- There's the possibility of using E-bikes to make the riding easier (with supplement)

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING - You will need:
- Comfortable gym clothes are sufficient or you can choose to wear bicycle-specific clothing (bib-shorts and a cycling jersey)
- Rain/wind jacket in case of bad weather or Mistral wind, that can be stored in your saddle bag (recommended)
- Running shoes for flat pedals
- A small comfortable-collapsable backpack
- Sun hat, sun protection (hat, sun cream)
