Luberon walking: short and sweet - guest reviews

" Whenever I embark on these types of hike, I always take my Garmin gps with the walks downloaded onto it. So, we didn’t ever get lost. The walking notes seemed to be very comprehensive although there there did seem to be very occasional (and very minor) deviations from the gpx routes - eg walking through cabrieres d’Avignon. We probably enjoyed the Goult and Bonnieux walks the most because the views were better whereas we were largely walking through trees in the first two walks and didn’t have much to see by way of view - The views of the Abbey were of course magnificent! We asked the taxi driver to start the Bonnieux walk from Lacoste because it was going to be very hot that day. That was definitely a good decision!
The packed lunches, taxis, hotels and restaurants (bar 1!) were superb. I know that it probably wasn’t easy to find a restaurant on the day we visited La Teston.

" We enjoyed our trip with Intura. We did all the walks except for the trip to Bonneaux. We started in Lacoste and walked to hotel. Lots of the walks had rocks - as you told us. You were correct. The hotel accommodations were terrific, the taxi drivers were terrific. The restaurant at the hotel in Bonnieux was probably the best meal of my life.  Thank you for organizing our first week in June ! " The Mas de La Beaume was wonderful! The hosts, the room and food were so very excellent!!! The transportation people were excellent! And our lunch the second day was very excellent!! Finally, the hot et l you recommended in Avignon was not good.our room was strange and uncomfortable. I’d not recommend Cloître Saint-Louis Avignon Hôtel. We stayed also at Avignon Grand hotel loved it.

" The highlights for us : Seeing the countryside from a different perspective, walking through the villages (esp Lacoste) and vineyards.
We had one issue with a taxi failing to pick us up on time in Lourmain - our Intura contact got right on it and solved the problem. We know that unexpected things happen sometimes, and we really appreciated the diligence in getting it fixed"

" trip highlights for me : The people at M’as de la Beaume and drivers, scenery, Gordes, seeing the source at Fountaine de Vaucluse, Mur de la peste and other walls and Bories, Senanque abbey.
I think the road book was the best notes and the best format ( ring bound book) I have used. Detailed and precise. There were a few places where I believe there were some changes but then again I could have misinterpreted. 
I would give the hosts at M’as de la Beaume 5 stars if I could…they were fabulous. The drivers were great too. I had two longish trips with the driver who took me from Gordes and we had long friendly chats. I loved La Trinquette in Gordes. Good food and lovely serveurs.
