" The variety and interest of the walks was great - it felt like a very good introduction to different landscapes and scenery of the region. A nice combination of being by the coast and being inland in rural areas and hills.
It was very comprehensive and interesting to read about the history too. For us, some information on the birds, animals, plants and flowers to be found in the area would be an interesting addition. We saw so many different birds and flowers that are special to that area.
The highlights for me : Seeing parts of the countryside that you would only see by walking and that felt a bit 'off the beaten track', like the walk from Santa Catarina. The coastal scenery was stunning too - the interesting and varied geology and the sea and beach views. Seeing so many white storks flying around and nesting, as well as all the other interesting flora and fauna. Special thank you to all the taxi drivers who drove us around - they were all so helpful and friendly and we felt they were really good 'ambassadors' for their areas.
We have used Intura Travel for a couple of previous holidays in Provence.
We would definitely travel with Intura again and recommend to friends. The organisation, information provided, and assistance locally during the trip were very good and the pricing compares well with other self-guided walking companies we have used.
This was a really good trip and a lovely introduction to different areas of the Algarve. Having two nights in each place was good, so it didn't feel too rushed. On the couple of occasions when something didn't quite go to plan we were very well supported by the local Intura team. Thank you ! "
