CAR RENTAL - What is included
. Base 2 and 3 persons : category C Renault Clio with air conditioning
. Base 4 persons : category D1 Ford Focus with air conditioning
. Base 5 persons : category E Renault Captur with air conditioning
. Car with manual transmission (for an automatic, please contact us) including unlimited mileage, with an Excess that varies according to the category from 750 € to 1250 €. Additional insurance to reduce this liability isz not included, see below.

CAR RENTAL - What is not included
. The fuel for the rental car and optional additional insurance
. Without additional insurances, the excess in case of damage is: Cat C = 750€ - Cat D = 1000€ - Cat E = 1250€
.  Additional insurance:
=> SCDW:  to reduce the excess to 0€ adding a supplement of: Cat C = 12,20 € /day - D= 15,25€ / day - Cat E = 24,40€ / day. But this additional insurance does not cover damage to windshield, tires, rims, lights and mirror
=> TCDW : to cover windscreen, tires, rims, lights and mirror, add a supplement of 6,10 € /day in any category
=> to include a Theft Protection, add a supplement of : Cat C = 6,10 € /day - D= 8,55€ / day - Cat E = 11€ / day
=> to include a Passenger Protection, add a supplement of :  7,50 € in any category
. Additional driver: from 18,30€ /day
. The driver must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum 1 years’ driving experience. For young drivers between 21 and 23 years old, there is a supplement of 20€ / day.
. Pick-up and drop-off out of office hours (before 9am and after 7pm): 30€
. Late arrival (after midnight): 37 €
. Even if you take out a full insurance you will still have to leave a deposit of 200 € in case of damages to the interior, to undercarriage, loss of key, using wrong fuel, returning car with less fuel etc  …
. You will need to present a credit card and not a debit card
. To summarise:  there are two options for the insurance :
 => If you do not take SCDW, the amount of the excess is blocked on the customer’s Credit card (750€).
 => If you take SCDW + TCDW, only your credit card details will be taken (and up to 200€ debited but no amount will be blocked) or you can leave a cash deposit of 200€

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Special note for the night in Funchal (D7) during Christmas, New Year's Eve and the Flower Festival (from 24.04 to 09.05) :
. During these busy periods, many hotels in Funchal impose a minimum of a 4-night stay.
. Please consider sleeping out of the town centre. Program arrangements can be made accordingly.
