" The trail notes were fantastic, thank you. One thing to note on:
Three castles walk from St Hippolyte to Ribeauville - after seeing the castles you descend a very steep path to Ribeauville. The notes say its a 10 minute walk buts it more of a 40 minute descent to the outskirts of the town.
We also used All Trails App. we found you need the App and the notes for the best accuracy.
We loved all the walks. One suggestion: you provide the estimated timing of each walk. This didn’t really factor in time for breaks, lunch etc. So a 4 hour hike would take us 5.5 hours with breaks, photo stops and lunch. It may be good to mention this in the trip notes
Also, Taxi Jose was great, always on time, friendly drivers
The staff at Les Remparts were wonderful, especially Francoise. Staff at all hotels were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was always delicious and plenty of food. We ate at the hotel restaurant in Orbey - au bois Sire - it was incredibly amazing. our favourite meal! Everyone should eat there.
We recommend La Romanella restaurant in Barr for dinner. Great service and menu, traditional dishes as well as pizza. In Munster, for typical Alsation cuisine, try Winstub S’Stewla"
