"This trip is a complete discovery of the back country of the French Riviera, hiking on beautiful trails with jaw-dropping panoramas along the way. You will experience the genuine & authentic flavour of the mountain villages, famous for its french-italian cultures and its beautiful baroque churches. The perched village of Saint Agnes is one of the highest village in Europe. You will enjoy the comfort & relaxing ambiance at the end of the trip in Menton that is a beautiful coloured italian town : a perfect end to your walking holiday ! "

" We will recommend the walk. We enjoyed dinner at the St Yves in St Agnes and found family very helpful when luggage not collected. the special highlights for us were  the Chapel of Our Lady of the fountains at La Brigue and St Agnes. All the walks were pleasant. We met and remet some friendly fellow walkers, one group with Intura from Sweden with whom we enjoyed ongoing interaction.. We used INTURA previously for walk in the Luberon.  Would you recommend us to your friends ?  Yes ! "

"Great accommodation, great service with provision of great food. Each accommodation was different and interesting. Not for faint of heart or the 'occasional' walker - some of the days are tough - but offer incredible views and great rewards when your destination is reached. "  We really enjoy the variation and quality of the scenery and options en route. We really enjoy your trips through the small towns and villages. For us this is better than just being in the typical cities. As per our previous trip in Provence with you,  your help with completing the details of the trip was very helpful. For us, on a "self guided" tour, the best part was knowing that INTURA had covered all the bases and was there to help us if we ran into any troubles or had questions. We have already been discussing possible future trips with you and we have passed you name on to others but so far no one has taken us up on it."

“ We had an absolutely excellent time & really enjoyed every minute of the trip. The La Brigue to Tende loop and also the route from Sospel to St. Agnes - amazing. The fact that the routes were very quiet and not full of other hikers was a great bonus. The hotels were great and the picnic provided by the St. Yves on the last day was amazing & fed us for the whole day !! The travel guide book was also really excellent - myself & my husband would not be great at reading maps, so the info and trail description in the book was great for us. “

“The variation in the scenery from La Brigue to Menton was spectacular, especially as we took it day by day and could see the gradual difference as we descended through the Maritime Alps. Our favorite towns were St. Agnes and Menton. We did our one-week tour in June, with super weather both in the Alps and down on the coast. This was the perfect way to get away for one week, but feel like we had been on a two-week holiday - fresh air, exercise, good food and nothing to arrange or worry about. Thank you”

Everybody whom we encountered on the trip was helpful, provided excellent service, and was flexible to accommodate slight changes in our arrangements due to my spouse's sickness. I walked on the trails alone and felt completely comfortable and safe. Walking instructions were perfect. The hiking time predicted in the brushier was completely correct. The places I visited on my walks were remote enough to give a sense of the rural life in Southern France, which was a nice cultural experience.
