Brittany has a mild and changeable oceanic climate. There is sunshine, but it is often shared with clouds. Rainfall is frequent throughout the year, but generally short and followed by sunny spells. Winds are common, blowing mainly along the coast and bringing a feeling of coolness, even in summer.
• Spring: Mild and humid, with longer days and pleasant temperatures.
• Summer: Temperatures remain moderate (rarely above 25°C), perfect for long walks. Mornings and evenings are often cool, with morning mist on the coast.
• Fall: A mild and colorful season, with flamboyant landscapes. Rainfall may be more frequent.

• Tuesday to Saturday: the fish market (halle aux poissons – direct sales from fishermen) at the marina
• Tuesday morning: market at the Ploumanac’h harbor (from April to September)

What is the difference between crepe and galette in the restaurants ?
The galette is made with buckwheat flour and is savoury, while the crêpe is made with wheat flour as is sweet. Both are equally delicious!
