" I've walked a lot in Europe and usually with trekking organisations. Your trek was very interesting in its historical aspects and encompassed beautiful gardens and sights of Lake como. Your choice of focussing the walk around the middle lake was excellent.

You start in Lenno, an authentic, small Italian village that attracts the masses during the high season. From here you can admire and discover all the "must sees" such as Villa Carlotta and immerse yourself in the village life in Lenno. You then have the privilege of walking on the lesser troden paths around Mennagio, off the beaten track where you will come across just a handful of tourists. The WOW factor of this trip has got to be the cable car to Pigra! Make sure your phone is fully charged because you'll take hundreds of photos on the way up!
